Services

House Calls
We have been providing housecall service for the North Shore for 10 years. We bring our expertise to your home. While this service is not suitable for emergency care, many issues can be addressed in the comfort of your own home. If further care is needed, transportation can be arranged to our full care facilities. We can also deliver medications and food during these visits. All costs are the same excepting the surcharge for the housecall itself and any possible assistant fees that may be necessary. Call the office at 985-0454 for all the details and rates.

Emergencies
For 15 years we have provided emergency care to our clients after normal hours, on most nights and weekends. Up to 11 pm. Call the normal business number and you will be directed on how to get ahold of our veterinarians. There is an additional fee for emergency calls. Please respect the use of this service for true emergencies. Our veterinarians wish to have a life too.!

Full Surgery
We provide complete surgical care for most situations. Our facilities boast extensive surgical equipment and anesthetic machines. Our staff are highly trained to ensure the procedure goes as smoothly as possible for both you and your pet. We strive to provide comfortable caring environments. To decrease your worry, we provide many preanesthetic and intraoperative care packages that can be tailored to you and your pets needs and wishes. All our procedures are conducted by licenced veterinarians with extensive schooling. The support staff have your pets best interest in mind and are there to help in the monitoring and post operative care of your pet. If your pet needs a procedure requiring a board certified surgeon, we will arrange for a consultation in our office, with subsequent surgery performed in the familiar surroundings of our office. Please feel comfortable asking any questions regarding these and related issues with our staff.

For cats we offer lion clips as well. All grooms include free nail trims, tooth brushing ear/eye cleaning and brush outs.

Dentistry
Oral hygiene is extremely important for your pet. While tartar and gingivitis can be ‘unsociable’ due to the halitosis, the real concern presented is oral disease and pain. This disease is not localized just to the mouth, but is well documented to play a role with kidney and heart health. We therefore place a high importance on the dental health programs we offer. While promoting responsible home care, we do provide in hospital prophylaxis, which includes scaling, polishing, charting, probing, fluoride, and dental follow-up. In addition we provide in house dental surgery and care including periodontal grafts, extractions, periodontal treatment, root planing, interventive orthodontics, root canals, oral radiology [xrays] and treatment planning. We support this process with the use of board certified veterinary dental specialists who are called in when necessary.

Complete Wellness Exams
An annual wellness exam is a yearly exam done to promote animal health and welfare similar to that of a human physical exam. Even if an animal does not receive its yearly vaccines, your pet should have a yearly exam in order to maintain good health and prevent against possible unforeseen diseases. Keep in mind that in the life of a pet, a calendar year is a long time.

Absolute Care and Compassion
Our mission is to optimize the quality of life for our animal friends and fortify their relationships with human companions.
