St. Catherine’s Anglican Church

In existence for over 62 years now, St. Catherine’s Anglican Church has been reaching out the community with love and compassion. The service here starts at 10 on Sunday mornings and are led by Reverend Christine Rowe. For those who have never been to church a typical Sunday looks like this: singing and readings from the Bible, followed by a sermon (or presentation done on a part of the Bible). Children have the option of staying in the service or going down to either the nursery or Sunday school depending on their age. It should also be noted that children return during the service to take part in communion with everyone else.

If children do decide to stay in the service with you, the Church has been thoughtful enough to provide different children’s material to keep them busy. Older youth usually stay in through the service; however St. Catherine’s does have several different youth groups which meet at various days and times. Junior youth, senior youth and common ground youth group are just some of the different youth groups here at St. Catherine’s. For the adults, there are both men and woman groups that meet together as well as a Bible study that meets regularly. St. Catherine’s vision statement is: “St. Catherine’s – Christians becoming a compassionate, courageous community, living abundant Love.” And they really have kept to that.

Through outreach trips locally, nationally and internationally of different kinds which have been supported by St. Catherine’s. The majority of the facility is wheelchair accessible and headsets are available for the hearing impaired, so that your spiritual condition won’t be affected by your physical one. If you have any questions feel free to check out St. Catherine’s website which should be able to answer most. However if you still needs answers email Reverend Rowe and she would be more than happy to help.
